About the Academic and Research Vice President
The academic and research vice-president is accountable to the University’s academic and research affairs including community services, academic planning; and ensuring their implementation. It supervises the quality of teaching-learning and research activities. It also provides direct support to the University president in the management and co-ordination of the university’s overall strategic activities and in all University matters. All deans/academic directors, continuing education directorate, research and publication director, community service and industry linkage director, academic affairs director, library and documentation director, registrar and alumni director are responsible for academic and research vice president.
